THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: This video for “Chandelier” by Sia is on repeat right now. Sia is insanely talented, and so so charming. I saw her at Coachella a few years ago and it was one of the most honest performances I’ve ever seen. Also one of my fave bands, Arcade Fire just released their newest video, you can check out We Exist over this way.
LET’S TALK ABOUT ART BABY: I recently discovered Native Textile and I am nothing short of obsessed. #34 is my favorite. I missed the last workshop she did in SF, but I am really hoping to make it to the next one. Anjana Iyer’s project, Found in Translation, illustrates words that have no direct English translation. See Huff Posts profile of her work here, and more of her work on her website. Jessica Harrison is killing it with her tatted porcelain dolls, found via The Jealous Curator.
HOME DESIGN ON MY MIND: Laura from A Beautiful Mess has the dopest living room. Alll that leather and fur. I’m into it. After our recent move I am in major design-inspo mode, especially on living room style. Currently I’m looking for the rug that will bring the room together; I love this, this, and this but I am always so scared to pull the trigger on such influential design elements.
JELL-O SHOTS TO MY HEART: With Memorial Day heading our way, I’m not the only one with summer on my mind. Emma shared her lemon drop jello shots this week, and Cyd graced us with her recipe for these cute strawberry daquiri jello shots.
How are you spending Memorial Day/Summer Kick-Off weekend?
